Featured Programs
Through the 2022 BSI program, advanced high school students had the opportunity to enroll in a college-level Biology course at ABA partner Trinity Washington University. This course complemented their paid summer biotechnology coursework hosted at McKinley Technical High School, led by ABA Teaching Fellow Dr. Schuster.
We connect high school students with paid opportunities funded by O.S.S.E.’s Career Ready Internship to further develop their biotechnology skills, build confidence in their research and presentation skills, prepare for the Biotechnology Assistant Credentialing Exam (BACE), and connect their skillsets to future career dreams.
Through our partnership with O.S.S.E., select high school students in Washington, D.C. participate in paid internship research opportunities to receive course credit, community service hours, professional development support, and direct experience conducting research in biotechnology subjects.
